No US support and not mentioned except by reviewers

Thank you for your email. Unfortunately access to our iPad app is not currently free to our subscribers within the US, due to access issues. We are working to make this possible but do not have a specific date which I can pass onto you at present.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

This should be noted on iTunes and in the magazine. Of course, should I pay, I can access the content. This therefore seems more like a (bad) business decision than a rights issue. And it certainly been managed badly.
